RideIt – User Terms and Conditions

Welcome to RideIt. By using our app, website, or services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking any rides.

1. Eligibility
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use RideIt services.
  • By creating an account, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and up to date.
2. Booking a Ride
  • You can book a ride via our app.
  • Upon booking, you agree to pay the fare displayed.
  • Fares may vary based on distance, wait time, passenger count, or additional services (e.g., pet ride, pause charges).
3. Payments

Payments are made directly to the driver at the end of the ride via:

  • Cash
  • UPI
  • QR Code

RideIt does not collect fares on behalf of drivers.

4. Cancellations and No-Shows
  • If you cancel after the driver has reached the pickup point, a cancellation fee of ₹20 may apply, payable directly to the driver.
  • Repeated cancellations may lead to temporary suspension of your account.
5. Passenger Rules
  • Respect the driver and vehicle at all times.
  • As per the RTO rules only a maximum of 3 passengers will be allowed for ride.
  • For rides with pets, an additional ₹50 will be charged (select “Pet-Friendly Ride” while booking).
  • Pausing the ride mid-ride beyond 3 minutes will incur a ₹10 charge for ₹3/min after that.
6. Safety and Responsibility
  • RideIt verifies driver identity, vehicle details, and basic background checks.
  • However, RideIt is a technology platform connecting you to independent drivers — we are not responsible for delays, accidents, loss of items, or driver behavior.
  • In emergencies, contact customer care or local authorities immediately.
7. Customer Support

We provide customer support through:

  • In-app chat/help
  • Helpline number

You can report issues such as:

  • Misconduct
  • Overcharging
  • Vehicle hygiene
  • Ride disputes
8. Account Termination
  • You may delete your account at any time.
  • RideIt reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:
    • Abuse, threats, or misconduct
    • Multiple cancellations
    • Misuse of promo codes or fraudulent activity
9. Data & Privacy
  • We collect basic user data (phone number, DOB, ride history, location) for ride matching and service improvement.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties without consent.

10. Changes to Terms
  • RideIt may update these terms occasionally.
  • Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
  • These terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Vijayawada].
